Festival Hydro is launching a campaign today to help cut down on paper use, benefit the environment and contribute to the local United Way.
The utility provider says for every customer who switches to paperless billing online, it will donate five dollars to the Perth-Huron United Way.
Festival Hydro says there are other advantages to the switch, such as being able to track your consumption online in real-time along with having more information and resources at your fingertips.
Thanks to the Positivity Through Paperless campaign, more than 600 customers dropped paper billing and $3,100 went to the local United Way last year.
