The independent public inquiry into improving the safety and well-being of seniors in long-term care will be led by Judge Eileen Gillese.
The former Justice served as the dean and a professor of law at Western University in London.
The inquiry is being launched in the shadow of convicted former nurse Elizabeth Wettlaufer’s killings which were carried out in long-term cares homes here in the region.
Gillese’s final report from the inquiry is expected to make it into the public books by the end of July in 2019.
