The Perth County OPP has closed off the area of Road 155 between lines 32 and 34 just east of Mitchell due to a collision between a train and a transport truck this morning.
Police say the transport truck didn’t stop in time at a rail crossing.
The crash caused the conductor’s car along with one other to derail.
The OPP says the truck driver wasn’t seriously hurt and none of the train’s crew reported injuries.
Police are asking drivers to avoid the area as they continue to investigate.
