Crisis Negotiators Called to Mitchell District Highschool

The Perth County OPP says it had to call in crisis negotiators over the weekend to defuse a situation at Mitchell District High School.

Police say on Saturday a distraught man was on the roof of the school and refused to cooperate with officers on the ground.

The OPP closed off a number of roads in the area before taking him into custody later in the night.

Police say no one was hurt in the incident and they’re still investigating.
