Thanks to you, Canadian Blood Services almost made its target for donors on Tuesday with another opportunity to do so right around the corner.
Territory Manager Elaine St. Pierre says this is the time of year when donations are critical.
She says when kids are heading back to school and families are preparing for the fall, CBS sees a lull in donations.
Those donations go to more than just local emergency rooms, as parts of the blood such as plasma and platelets are used in research and cancer treatment.
The next clinics are set for Saturday, September 2nd at the Stratford Rotary Complex and on Monday, September 4th at the St. Mary’s Pyramid Recreation Centre.
