Starting today, the Perth District Health Unit will no longer offering travel health services such as vaccines.
Medical Officer of Health Miriam Klassen says it’s a service the health unit has offered for the better part of 30 years.
It comes on the heels of new provincial guidelines for public health and a sharp increase in those accessing the resource.
The health unit says it will be keeping any appointments after September 1st but won’t be granting new ones.
You can now go through your local pharmacy or family doctor.
