Sewer Work Set for Across the City Beginning After Long Weekend

It’s going to be a busy week for the City of Stratford and its sewer systems as more work is being done starting on Tuesday.

From the 5th to the 15th crews will be working on rehabilitating many of the city’s sewer systems using a no-dig method.

It involves crews inserting a special liner into the existing infrastructure to complete the work, which is then heated and bonded to the existing lines.

Starting Tuesday Martin, Cobourg and Birmingham streets will all have work completed.

The city says crews will mostly be working in the evenings and overnight hours.

Notices of water service interruptions and for increased noise will be given to all affected residents.
