Second Public Meeting Called on Closing of Hillside Manor

Perth Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece says another public meeting regarding the closure of Hillside Manor.

Pettapiece says it’s thanks to public outcry that the Ministry of Health is calling the second meeting.

The closure of the long-term care home means at least 50 beds will be leaving the Stratford and Mitchell area, heading to larger urban centres such as London.

Pettapiece has been critical of the ministry’s decision since it was announced.

The public meeting is set for Wednesday, October 4^th at the Sebringville Community Centre at 6:00pm.
