Trillium Hatchery is investing 20-million dollars into a new chicken-hatching facility in Stratford. The announcement was made on Friday at an event at the Stratford’s Chefs School. Trillium says the investment is in response to growing demand farmers and Ontario consumers. The new facility will create jobs and is expected to open in October next year. Mayor Dan Mathieson says it is a welcome addition to Stratford’s agri-business family. Mathieson says Trillium is a leader in its field and he is pleased to welcome them to the city.
