The House of Commons will be back in session next week as Perth-Wellington MP John Nater will be assuming new responsibilities.
Nater has been named to the opposition seat for interprovincial trade and sharing economy in the Conservative’s Shadow Cabinet.
Nater is on the front lines in the area as NAFTA talks could have a big impact on local agriculture and tourism.
He says trade issues are bipartisan and is hopeful the U-S, Canada and Mexico will come to an agreement.
