United Way Perth-Huron Kicks of 2017 Campaign in Stratford

The United Way Perth-Huron welcomed a full house to its annual campaign kick-off luncheon at the Kiwanis Community Centre today.

The United Way works with nearly 50 community groups and organizations on a local level in the region.

Executive Director Ryan Erb says the bar has been set high for non-profit’s fundraising goal of just over $1.5 million.

He says it’s a good sign seeing as nearly a quarter of a million dollars has already been raised.

The campaign kick-off was supported by Sun Life Financial and all of the food provided came from Stratford’s Local Community Food Centre
