Police investigate cemetery fires in St Marys

The Perth County OPP is also investigating two grass fires near the St Marys Cemetery.

Police are asking for parents to help out.

Police and the St. Marys Fire Department say the area is often used by young people for parties and campfires.

They say there have been two fires there in the last month.

You’re urged to remind your children not to trespass or play with fire.

Anyone with information about these two incidents is asked to contact the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
