OPP: Armed Forces Conducting Exercises South of Goderich this Week

The Huron County OPP says residents in Goderich may notice and increased military presence starting today.

The Canadian Armed Forces are training alongside provincial professionals at the former Bluewater Youth Centre until the end of the week.

Police say if you hear explosives being used or increased noise during the daytime hours it will be due to the training in the area.

The OPP is asking you to steer clear of the area until the training wraps up on Friday.
