Sewer Work Continues this Week Along Douro Street

Contractors will be working along Douro Street this week on sewer systems as part of a larger undertaking by the city.

More than a dozen neighbourhoods across Stratford are set to have work completed over the next few months.

The contractors are using a special no-dig sewer lining technique, which means crews in many cases won’t have to dig up any of the ground lines.

The city says it has sent out notifications to anyone affected by the work.

Work between Burritt Street and C-H Meier Boulevard is expected to wrap up on Friday.
