Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece is keeping the pressure on the province on the proposed plan to close Mitchell’s Hillside Manor.
He again raised the issue of losing local long-term care beds to Minister of Health Eric Hoskins.
Pettapiece says so far, no commitment to closing the facility’s doors has been made by the province.
He says it’s thanks to feedback from the communities affected by the potential closure that a second public consultation has been called.
It’s scheduled for Wednesday at 6:00pm at the Sebringville Community Centre.
