Perth and Wellington Police See a Spike of Drunk Drivers

Both the Perth and Wellington County OPP are reminding drivers about the dangers of getting behind the wheel while drunk or under the influence of drugs.

The Wellington County OPP’s RIDE programs and regular patrols nabbed six drunk drivers in less than 15 hours over the weekend.

The Perth County OPP also laid charges against three drivers over the same span.

Police are suggesting you think about alternatives such as calling a taxi, staying at a friends or arranging for a designated driver when you’re out and drinking.
