Arrest Warrant Issued for Man Facing Gun Charges

The Huron County OPP has issued an arrest warrant on a man facing weapons charges known to frequent the area.

Police say the owner of a UTV went to a home on River Mill Line near Dungannon to confront someone who allegedly stole the vehicle.

The OPP says after a confrontation a shot was fired from rifle at the direction of the fleeing UTV owner.

Police say 29-year-old Kody Johnson is wanted for assault, mischief, careless use of a firearm and breach of probation.

He’s described as white, six feet tall, about 170 pounds with a medium build and dark hair.
