Ground breaks for new Stratford Perth Archives

Ground was broken yesterday on the new Stratford Perth Archives.

It will be going in next to the Stratford Perth Museum on Highway 8.

David Stones is chair of the museum board.

He says it just made sense to move the two operations side-by-side.

Stones says local patrons can do all their research in one place.

He says the new building will go nicely with the old.

Construction should be finished by the fall.

The new archives will open in 2015.
