Reps will be meeting this week in hopes of preventing a strike by the Perth District Health Unit’s Public Health Nurses, Practitioners and Registered Nurses.

They have been without a contract since December 31st of last year.

Our local health unit helps to service around 77,000 people in Perth County, with many providing support for rural addiction services along with community partners on the ground level.

Any work-stoppage would impact immunization clinics along with public health and education events.
