St. Marys Looking to Help Local Community Groups and Organizations with Funding Grant

The Town of St. Marys is looking to help local community groups and organizations to fund projects and events in the area.

The grant program could give anyone who successfully applies up to 25 per cent funding for towards the budget for said project.

The process involves applying through the town’s website or the town hall.

The municipality says it’s likely any groups who apply will have to make a brief presentation to council before a recommendation is passed.

Non-capital projects could include recreation, sporting events, arts and culture, social services, environmental goals or providing community services.
