A symbol of sacrifice was defaced in Stratford earlier this week.
Some vandals decided they’d spray paint graffiti on the cenotaph.
The monument commemorates local soldiers who gave their lives in World Wars I and II, and the Korean War.
The Stratford Police confirmed they did receive a complaint about the incident and that the graffiti has since been washed off.
