Paramedics Pitching in to Bring Medical Supplies to Islands Recovering from Hurricane Irma

Perth County Paramedics are working to get much needed medical supplies and other items to hurricane stricken islands in the eastern Caribbean.

Paramedic stations are accepting donations of anything from soap and toothpaste to bandaids or event wheel chairs.

Primary Care Paramedic Andree Martin says it will all be going in suitcases with paramedics headed for Barbuda and Antigua.

She says it’s often the basics that are needed more than anything as a significant chunk of the population from Barbuda has been relocated to Antigua and the British Virgin Islands.

You can drop off supplies until October 31st.

Drop off locations:

Stratford, 480 Douro Street

Mitchell, 16 Napier Street

St. Marys 241 Queen Street West
