Earl Kemp, 88, of Mitchell passed away peacefully at the Mitchell Nursing Home on Saturday, October 21, 2017.
Beloved husband of Vera Kemp. Dear father of Carolyn Bragg and Jim, Dianne Smale and Ken, Wendy Ridgway andTerry, Clifford Kemp and Connie. Loving grandfather of twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Dear brother of Betty Vock-Cowell, Harold Kemp and Marg Shirley Zimmer and Laverne. Dear brother-in-law of Bill Cornish, Phyllis Kemp and Anne Kemp. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Clifford and Leone Kemp, brothers Dalton, Gordon and Jean and George, sisters Evelyn Pridham and Ormand, Margaret Cornish, Fay Sager and Ernie, brothers-in-law Carl Vock and Cecil Cowell and sister-in-law Audrey Bilyea and Jim.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Woodland Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. A Masonic service will be held on Tuesday evening at 8:00 p.m.
