Asian Carp Could Threaten Other Species in Lake Huron

The MNRF says the destructive Asian Carp could be in Lake Huron.

DNA tests run by the ministry came back positive for the presence of Asian Carp in the great lake, despite no reports of any being spotted or caught.

Asian Carp generally out-eat and out-breed any other species, posing a major threat to the lake’s natural inhabitants.

The MNRF is reaching out to the public to be notified if anyone spots one of the carp following its findings.
