Changes Could be Coming to Expand City Hall Parking; Limits Increased, Prices Reduced on Erie and Kalbfleisch

The City of Stratford will be reviewing the potential of bringing in more parking around City Hall.

It comes as standing committees discussed the potential of turning Wellington into a one-way street through the city, however the idea hasn’t progressed through the discussion phase yet.

Parking rates on Lower Erie and Kalbfleisch have also been lowered along with time limits extended by an hour to accommodate the regular traffic in the area.

It’s part of the city’s push to improve parking after it announced a new project to gather data on parking habits and routines, with plans to also make the same information available to the public.
