Lincoln Leonard Lichti, 89, of Tavistock, passed away peacefully with family by his side at Skura House Hospice in Woodstock on Thursday, October 26th 2017.
He was born in East Zorra Township on July 15th 1928, a son of the late John and Barbara (Bender) Lichti.
He is survived by his wife, the former Maryann Zehr whom he married in 1947; three sons, John, Larry and his wife Marilyn, Richard and his wife Nancy, all of Tavistock; four grandchildren, Jason and friend Julie, Adam and friend Michelle, Eric, Jenna and friend Jacob; hise sister, Leona Bender; his brother Elroy; sisters-in-law-, Emmalene, Geneva, Mildred; brothers-in-law- and sisters-in-law Harold and Violet May Erb, Walter and Clara Zehr.
He was predeceased by brothers Elmon, Stanley, Mervin and Kenneth; sisters-in-law, Erma and Loretta along with brother-in-law, Mervin Bender.
Relatives and friends will be receive din the Francis Funderal Home, 77 Woodstock Street North, Tavistock on Saturday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
The funeral service will be held in Tavistock Mennonite Church on Sunday, October 29th at 2:00pm. The Rev. James Brown will officiate. Internment in East Zorra Mennonite Cemetary, 16th line. Reception following.
