Police Investigating Thefts in Tavistock; More Charges Could be Filed

Two men are up on charges of theft in relation to a break and enter, theft of tools and stolen gas.

The Oxford County OPP says officers responded to a break-in on Thursday evening in Zorra Township, after about $4,500 worth of tools had been stolen.

Police tracked down a vehicle witnesses had described to Tavistock, discovering the car had been reported stolen in Essex County on Wednesday.

The two charged are a 21-year-old Lakeshore man and 26-year-old Windsor man.

The OPP says it’s still investigating other thefts believed to be related.
