The Stratford-Perth Healthcare Alliance says if you have diabetes there are a number of programs and resources in place and they’re easy to access.
Registered Dietician Victoria Zimmer says the website is a good place to start if you’re looking for more information.
She says you can also schedule free appointments at the Stratford General with a registered nurse and dietitian.
The SPHA holds a support group on the first Thursday of every month at 2:00pm out of the Sobey’s Community Room in Stratford.
