Crosswalk violators will be under scrutiny by police after mounting concerns have been reported from the public in North Perth.
The Perth County OPP says it’s especially concerning in school and community safety zones.
The municipality says it’s looking to bring in additional signage and lighting to busier intersections, especially along school routes.
Police say you must obey crossing guards, whether they’ve just walked out onto the roadway or are just leaving it you have to stop a safe distance away.
