Health Unit Promoting Flu Shots and Hosting Clinic this Month

Flu season is upon us and the Perth District Health Unit says you should think about getting a flu-shot at this time of year.

Registered Nurse Lorna Askes says every year the World Health Organization develops a different vaccine every year.

She says the flu-shot doesn’t just protect you, but others as well.

You can always schedule a flu-shot through your family doctor or pharmacy as well as the upcoming immunization clinic set for Friday, November 10th from 10:00am to 4:00pm at the Spruce Lodge in Stratford.
