Arrests Made Following Thefts in Perth South

The Perth County OPP says it’s made two arrests in relation to a number of reported break-ins in Perth South.

Police say the thefts took place over the course of last month, mostly from rural homes in the township.

The OPP says a stolen Audi was used in the thefts, mostly of tools from the area.

A 22-year-old Waterloo man and a 22-year-old Huron East man are facing break and enter charges along with breach of probation after stealing more than $3,000 worth of tools.

Police say the two are still in custody as the investigation is ongoing.
