Stratford will be testing out crossing guards at the intersection of Nile and Ontario.
City Council approved the experiment at Monday’s meeting.
The decision came after a presentation by a concerned citizen regarding the amount of students in the area who walk to school.
Council will use the information gathered during the trial run to decide whether or not to put guards there on a permanent basis.
