Red Ribbon Campaign Kicks off Alongside OPP

Mothers Against Drunk Driving and the Huron County OPP have helped to kick off the 30th anniversary of the organization’s Red Ribbon Campaign.

The OPP has been a partner with MADD Canada in helping to cut down on drunk driving.

The campaign’s goal is to raise awareness and the ribbon is symbol of that commitment.

Chapters will be handing out ribbons in the region to be displayed on vehicles.

The OPP is using the opportunity to remind drivers Festive RIDE programs will be hitting our streets starting on November 20th and running into the new year.
