Perth County Emergency Management is working with municipalities to run exercises and drills in testing preparedness.
Emergency Management Coordinator Dave Colvin says he can’t reveal too much about the drills being carried out in the coming weeks.
He says while EMS and other first responders are part of the drills, it’s important municipal staff be well-equipped in the case of an emergency through the training.
Colvin says the results will be reviewed by each member municipality and to Perth County Council.
