Stratford Library to extend summer hours

The Stratford Public Library continues to modernize with the times.

It unveiled some big changes Friday afternoon to the main level of the building.

Anne Marie Heckman from the library says they have also made things a bit easier for smartphone users.

Heckman says the Stratford Public Library will also open on Mondays at 10:00AM and on Sundays starting at the end of May.

She says people are becoming more and more comfortable with e-readers.

The new layout of the main floor is friendlier to smartphone users as the library embraces new technology.
