First Phase of Erie Street Project Set to be Completed by End of December

The City of Stratford says much of the work slated for Erie Street south of Crane Avenue has been completed, with mostly painting remaining.

Public works says the contractor is working on shoulders and grading, along with working on residential driveways set to be completed by this upcoming Wednesday.

The city says the final asphalt work set for Erie Street between Crane Avenue North and Lorne Avenue will begin in the spring of next year.

Cox Construction says it will be working into this weekend and next week to prepare the Lorne Avenue and Erie Street intersection for paving, with a deadline set for Friday, December 22nd.
