InvestStratford Says Local Investment Surged Through 2017

InvestStratford CEO Joani Gerber says 2017 has been a busy year for local businesses.

She says a number of big investments in the form of a medical marijuana facility, autonomous car track and opening Canada’s largest battery storage facility among them.

Gerber says there’s a friendly job market in the area.

Manufacturing has also shown significant growth over the last year in Stratford and Perth County, which hasn’t been the case for a number of years.

She says employers are trying to keep up with the number of openings being created.
