Police Report Very Few Incidents Over New Years

Police are reporting only one incident in Stratford as people rang in the New Year.  Police say a car hit a hydro pole on Erie Street early in the morning on New Year’s Day.  The 26-year-old Stratford man driving the vehicle was arrested and taken to the police detachment for breath tests.  Police say the man was over the legal limit and is charged for impaired driving.
