A cyclist is recovering from serious injuries after a crash north of Shakespeare.
The Perth County OPP says they were called to the scene last night just before 5:30 p.m. on Line 40.
An investigation showed the bike was going fast down a hill when the rider lost control and crashed, hitting his head on the pavement.
The 42-year-old Perth East man was taken to a local hospital and then to a London hospital for treatment.
Police say this crash is a reminder to everyone to wear a helmet.
