More unpredictable weather is in the forecast for Perth and Huron counties through January and part of February.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Geoff Coulson says the short term forecast will see temperatures jumping up this week.
He says more snow similar to what the region has seen already is expected in the long-range as systems mix over Lake Huron and push lake effect snow through southwestern Ontario.
Coulson says we’ll see more seasonal temperatures following the thaw this week and more of a conventional winter for the area.
