Huron County Chiefs Deliver Warning Following Two Fatal Fires

Fire chiefs from across Huron County are delivering a warning to make sure you have working smoke alarms and C-O detectors.

It comes on the heels of two fatal fires in the province this week, where investigators believe having a solid home escape plan in place may have saved lives.

The group warns a fire could rip through a home in under a minute and having a working early warning system like a smoke alarm is crucial to keeping you and your loved ones safe.

Make sure you have at least one alarm on every level of your home and outside any bedrooms.

A recent fire in Oshawa has received national attention after a mother and her two children as well as a man who went in help died.
