More than 3,500 Come Out in Support of Alzheimer Society for Soup’s On!

Weather didn’t deter anyone from coming out the 23rd annual Soup’s On fundraiser.

Organizers estimate about 3,500 people made it out try the soups of more than 35 vendors to help support the Alzheimer Society of Perth County.

Executive Director of the society Debbie Deichert says some vendors have been contributing to the event for well over a decade.

It comes following a reported 122 per cent increase in those using the resources and programs offered by the society.

Deichert says the fundraiser helps to support those programs and also raises awareness.
