St. Jacobs Bridge Remains Closed Amidst Flood Warning

The St. Jacobs Bridge in Woolwich remains closed following a flood warning from the GRCA over the weekend.

The Grand River Conservation Authority has called off a number of watches but is keeping Woolwich under the warning for the timebeing as it regulates flows.

Some ice jams have been reported following widespread flash freezing on Friday and over the weekend throughout the watershed.

The GRCA says it will provide another update on flood watches and warnings on Wednesday afternoon.
