Legion urges residents to wear red on Friday

Canadians across the country will remember our nation’s sacrifice in Afghanistan tomorrow.

The National Day of Honour was declared by Royal Proclamation earlier this year by the federal government.

No events are planned locally to mark the occasion.

However, the Legion says you can show your support by wearing red, raising flags or by putting up the red and yellow ribbon in your home and business.
