National Hospice Palliative Care Week

The Rotary Club wants to bring a hospice to Stratford.

It will deliver a report this afternoon at the Kiwanis Centre about its progress.

Eugene Dufour is the chair of the hospice steering committee.

He says hospices are popping up all over now.

Emotional, physical, social and spiritual support would be provided to improve the quality of living and dying.

Dufour says it would take some of the pressure of the local hospital.

The Rotary Club of Stratford will present its progress report in the Kiwanis Centre today at 1:00pm.
