The Perth County Alzheimer Society is holding a free info session on living and dealing with the condition.
One the organizers Sheri Gilhula says the process of getting diagnosis and living with one can be a difficult.
She says there’s a stigma surrounding the disease and people in their 40s and 50s have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
The society is hoping to address concerns and inform people on the processes involved with treatment and living with it day-to-day.
The meeting is set for Tuesday, January 30th at 1:30pm in the Greenwood Court Auditorium.
