Special Weather Statement Calling for Widespread Snow in Effect

Environment Canada says to expect some hazardous driving today as 10 to 15 centimetres of snow is on the way.

The national forecaster says the system is moving slowly through the area which means widespread snowfall across this region of southwestern Ontario.

Low visibility is also expected with high winds reported in Perth and Huron counties.

Weather statements and snowfall warnings have been posted across the area stretching all the way to the Golden Horseshoe.
