Wellington County Council has passed its 2018 budget, which calls for a 2.5 per cent increase in county level property taxes.
This year’s budget has been incorporated into a new 10-year plan for Wellington which lays out plans for infrastructure investments.
It includes new public works facilities in Arthur and a $25 million investment into the Drayton Shop.
The budget also covered a push for affordable housing projects, winter maintenance improvements and an introduction of tax rebates for seniors and those living with disabilities.
