A number of communities in Perth and Wellington counties are sharing in more than $400,000 of provincial funding.
Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece says that money is for the revitalization and repair of main streets and downtown projects for each community.
Pettapiece says the funding will be put to good use, but cuts to the Ontario Municipal Partnership Fund have short-changed a number of rural municipalities.
Stratford, St. Marys and Perth East are among the nine municipalities receiving funding.
