Make Sure You Report Potholes to Public Works

It’s the time of year when the City of Stratford sees a spike in potholes reported on its roads.

Public Works Manager Jim Myers says the fluctuating weather over the last few weeks has had a big impact on roads crews.

Myers is asking you to report any potholes to might come across to his department, as public reports make up a good chunk of what crews address.

Myers says about 10 tons of asphalt has already been put down this season to patch and pad potholes in the city.

He’s also taking the opportunity to remind you that cars need to be off of the road through the overnight hours when we get snow so plows and sanders can make their rounds.
